BBQ Contest Full For 2008!

It’s time to get fired up! The 2008 Shawnee Great Grillers State Championship is right around the corner and the committee is blazing with excitement as this is sure to be the best contest ever. Grills will start smoking at Shawnee Town Friday at 6:00 p.m. Contest winners will be announced Saturday afternoon.

In addition to some of the best barbeque in the Midwest, there will be an assortment of activities for the whole community to enjoy. Fun Services will be on-site with slides and games for the kids Friday starting at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m.
